I have two things to be thankful for

I have two things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

I just published my new book: “Questions from the North; Answers from the South.” It’s available only on my website until 1 December. After that it’ll be on Amazon and Kindle.

The special Christmas pricing will be on my website through 31 December. Amazon and Kindle will be full price.

As exciting as all that is, I’m even more excited about being able to see all of my children and grandchildren this Thanksgiving and Christmas season. They have all kept their promise to stay close and help me through the issues dealing with my wife’s homegoing.

I’m getting ready for the Mountain Home

I’m getting ready for the Mountain Home AFB event this coming Thursday – Saturday. I arrived a few days early to play Uno with my granddaughters beforehand. I guess it doesn’t say much about my skills as a card player when I get beaten by a first-grader. But it has been a very enjoyable few days.

I’ve made progress on the “Questions from the North; Answers from the South” book. The manuscript is with the editor now. While he’s working on that I’m building the bibliography and other tasks to prepare the manuscript for uploading to the publisher.

Don’t have a definite release date yet, keep checking jameselstad.com for updates. For those who are interested in getting a pre-release copy and details of the pre-release pricing of Q&A, please e-mail me at: comesthesouthernrevolution@gmail.com and I’ll notify you details as they become available.

Thanks for your interest and support.

Jim

At both events I met a lot of people who encouraged me to continue writing. At the Sons of Confederate Reunion I met several readers who’ve purchased books from me in the past three years and were excited about my upcoming book: “Questions from the North; Answers from the South.”

Speaking of the Q & A book, I’m sending it to my editor tomorrow. I’m looking at an October 2015 release date. Please keep checking my website, jameselstad.com for updates.

The only two things that might slow up the Q & A release is getting copyright releases or finding a source that isn’t copyrighted and verifying my sources.

This year’s trip to the 2015 Sons of Con

This year’s trip to the 2015 Sons of Confederate Veterans Reunion has been wonderful. I started with a three-day event at Ft. Lee, VA and finished with a second three-day event outside of Richmond, VA. I was able to visit several people who have purchased books in past years and came up to me to discuss the storyline.
