I’ve scheduled 12 events for this year (1 is tentative for now). I have contacted a venue in Bend OR. If we can work out the details, I’ll post the specifics on my website. Go to the “Scheduled Events” tab at jameselstad.com for the exact dates. At this time I don’t have the exact address for some of the events. As we get closer to each event, I’ll post the address.
As far as “What Happened At Morningstar Pass?” goes, I’m now on chapter 10. It’s almost 19,000 words and it’s coming along very well. Last year I met a retired Coroner. He’s been answering my questions and helping me ensure the autopsy is believable.
Also, Lochlain Seabrook’s book “Everything You Want To Know About Slavery, Ask A Southerner” has been very helpful also.
