I’m making progress on W.H.A.M.P. I’m now finishing up chapter 6 and have almost 10,000 words. My editor tells me not to let the number of chapters or the word count decide the length of my books. That being said, my two previous books were 26 chapters each and between 75,000 – 84,000 words each.
I’ve tentatively scheduled a research trip to the Placerville, CA area in April or May 2015. Hopefully by that time the story will be written and I can make whatever adjustments that are necessary after I see the area I’ve set the story in.
I’m looking forward to seeing some of you at one of my events.
