I’ve been making progress on “What Happened At Morningstar Pass?” That’s the working title for the first of three murder mysteries that take place in the town of Kimmel, CO between 1870 and 1900. Kimmel is a town I’ve made up. But if it did exist it would be located in the vicinity of Gunnison, CO. If my plans work out, I hope to go on a research trip to Gunnison sometime next Spring.
At this time I’m halfway through the second chapter. My goal is to complete two chapters a month. Don’t know if that’s going to be realistic. Especially if I have a many book signings. After I finish the manuscript I plan on going over it again and get it ready for my editor.
Speaking of book signings, on Labor Day weekend I’ll be at the North West Civil War Council’s Reenactment they’re conducting at Ft. Stevens, OR. That’s close to Astoria, OR. If anyone happens to attend, please look me up.
I’m also planning on having a table at the SCV Pacific NW Division Convention and Ball on Saturday 20 September. It’ll be at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA. I look forward to seeing some of you there.
That’s all for today, thanks for your support.
