I’m back from my trip to the Sons of Confederate Veterans Reunion. It was good to see old friends and make new ones.
I sold quite a number of books. I was also able to get a lot of research material for my murder mystery called: “What Happened At Morningstar Pass?” It’s set in the fictional 1870s Colorado town of Kimmel. This will be the first of a prequel trilogy in which Rebel and Yankee Vets get in the way of a Sheriff solving a murder. I’ve finished the first draft of the first chapter. Next week I’ll start on chapter two.
Some of you might have noticed that I changed my Facebook picture. Let me know what you think.
Since I got back from the east coast I’ve been looking into my Amazon reviews (something I’ve neglected to do for a long time). I’d appreciate it if anyone who’s read either “Comes The Southern Revolution” and/or “Comes The Retribution” would do me a favor and post a review on Amazon.com.
As to my upcoming Sacramento and Bay Area book tour, it looks like I’ll have to postpone that due to scheduling conflicts with the venues I selected. If anything comes up you can check out my website, jameselstad.com.
Thanks again for your support.
