A lot has happened since my last post. Family issues have kept me from working on the audio book and the sequel. I’m going to reevaluate on when I can expect to release either one.
Last night I resumed working on the sequel. One advantage of the delay is the entire manuscript has gone cold and it’s like I’m reading it for the first time. I’m noticing changes that need to be made to the current draft.
A week ago I was able to visit the Golden Gate Bridge Visitors Center and Battery 129 (on the northwest side of the bridge). During my visit to both locations I have to re-write the first chapter of the sequel. The main points are going to stay, it’s the filler and background information needs to be consistent with the actual site. I can’t put a time on when I’ll finish the re-write of “Alpha” but I expect it shouldn’t take too long.
