It’s been a very hectic week, been busy with “stuff,” life seems to get in the way of my writing. All joking aside, I’ve gotten quite a bit accomplished with the manuscript. Chapter fifteen is done, and I’m working on sixteen. Been doing some research on spies in 1862, I’m planning on tying it in with the sequel. I ran the scenario by a friend of mine today. It blew him away, so I think I’ll flesh it out this week.
Speaking of research¸ I’m interested in hearing from anyone who has a suggestion for me to include in the sequel. For example, In 1862 a young man was captured by the Federals and hung as a spy. I’m thinking of having one of his descendants captured in the sequel. Haven’t worked out all the details, but that’s the type of suggestion I’m looking for.
Tomorrow I leave for San Diego. On Thursday and Friday I’ll be having a book signing at “Lestat’s Coffee House (on Adams Ave). I’ll be there from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. On Saturday I’ll be at Boll Weevil Restaurant from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you’re in San Diego, I’d love to see you at one of the events.
I’m working on other events in the next few months. Keep checking my website for changes.
