Today is the second day of my Ft. Irwin Dust Bowl book signing. Yesterday was amazing. I know that’s an overused work, but how else can I describe it?
This is the second time I’ve been at this venue (last time was 31 July). Yesterday soldiers were talking to me about my work, telling me about their friends loaning them a copy of my book and how much they enjoyed it. All that is enough to make for a very good day.
At closing time, I started to pack up and 6 soldiers came up and wanted to talk to me and to buy a copy. Yesterday I sold more in 10.5 hours than I’ve ever sold in 3 days.
To say that, I’m excited about today and tomorrow is an understatement.
